I thoroughly hate "baby talk." I find it absolutely annoying as well as patronizing to the child or, occasionally, pet. 
Yeah, they might not be as developed as an adult human, but we don't need to remind them of that. 

I really want to name Keith's new robot friend, but for the life of me, I can't think of any names that fit. I want it to be something that is short, memorable, and dynamic, while at the same time mirroring his (quickly emerging) personality.

Even still, who knew Keith could feel? Perhaps he has put all of his pent up emotions into a mechanical body. They both have tough exteriors.

Maybe Keith can’t show his own emotions, so he uses the robot to express them. Much in the same way that I talk through stuffed animals, sock puppets, and court room dolls.

Moop has some issues that he needs to get straightened out. So not only is he aggressive and fairly incompetent, he's also something of a racist. 
Let's hope he doesn't build a… Hmm. I can't seem to come up with another racist appliance or doodad. Too tired, I guess.
